Today, the 28th July 2023, Belgaum Chambers of Commerce and Industries delegation led by President Hemendra Porwal met Commissioner of Police Belagavi, welcomed him to Belagavi and discussed various traffic issues and specially about Baricades at various junctions I’m Belagavi.
The Commissioner of Police has assured to look into the matter.

Today, A delegation of traders, industrialists, and jewelers led by Shri Hemendra Porwal, President of Belgaum Chambers of Commerce and Industries, met Shri M J Ranesh Babu (Jt Commissioner of GST (Enforcement) North Zone Belagavi.
Various issues relating to Test Purchases, inquiries, and Checks of Stocks were discussed.
Jt Commissioner Shri Ramesh Babu heard all the issues of Traders and Industrialists and assured them that no one will be harassed for no mistake of the Trader/Industrialist.
Jt Commissioner Shri Ramesh Babu also said that test purchases and Inquiries will continue without harassment and with proper authorisation only.

The delegation led by Mla Abhay Patil, MP Iranna Kadadi along with the members of the Belagavi Chamber of commerce and other industry associations today met Chief minister Basavraj Bommai in Bengaluru. The meeting was very fruitful as per sources.
The first thing he cleared up was that Belagavi was part of the “high-tech” cities and a dedicated “startup park” and the media ignored Belagavi while reporting the CM added.
CM assured that a Foundry & hydraulics industrial estate/ park would be developed on 500 acre and the CM assured that he would bring one major Automobile based industries to Belagavi.
A delegation was lead by President Shri. Hemendra Porwal to Invest Goa 2022, had a good interaction with many Ministers and Govt Official.
Met MP Madam Smt Mangala Angadi today and handed over the request letter for CC road from Belgaum to Goa via Chorla. We also discussed about the long pending completion of ROB at 3 rd Gate and also the ESI hospital among other issues.
