KSLECA Central Committee Members Visit BCCI Shri C. Ramesh, President, Karnataka State Licensed Electrical Contractors Association (KSLECA – Central Committee), Bengaluru, along with Shri Harish Patil, Vice President, Central Committee, KSLECA, and Shri Mallikarjun, Joint Secretary, visited the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI), Belagavi. Shri Prabhakar Nagarmunoli, President, BCCI, welcomed and felicitated the dignitaries. During the meeting, discussions were held on various Government policies related to the electrical sector. The interaction was constructive and fruitful.

Hon’ble Minister for Small Scale Industries Visits BCCI Office
Shri Sharanbasappa Darshanapur, Hon’ble Minister for Small Scale Industries, Government of Karnataka, along with Shri Abhay Patil, Hon’ble MLA, South Belagavi, visited the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) office to discuss industrial grievances pertaining to Belagavi.
During the meeting, the President of BCCI submitted a memorandum to the Hon’ble Minister highlighting key issues faced by the industrial sector. The memorandum included concerns such as the release of subsidies for job work units, requirement of land for new industrial projects, lack of basic infrastructure in industrial areas, Record of Rights and E-Swastu matters, power supply issues, among others. Members of various industry associations actively participated in the interaction and raised several queries during the question-and-answer session. The Hon’ble Minister patiently addressed the concerns and provided clarifications.

Uma Reddy, President, Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), along with Shri Shravan Guduthur, Chairman, MANTHAN Committee, visited the Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) office and held discussions on the proposed Global MSME Conclave 2026 and other issues of mutual interest concerning the Chamber. Shri Prabhakar Nagarmunoli, President, BCCI; Shri Satish Kulkarni, Hon. Secretary, BCCI; and Shri Sanjeev Kattishetti, Past President, BCCI, were present during the meeting.

International Women Entrepreneurship Day 2025 Celebration

BCCI Celebrates International Women Entrepreneurship Day 2025

The Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) celebrated International Women Entrepreneurship Day 2025 on 13th December 2025, honouring five accomplished women entrepreneurs from Belagavi for their outstanding contributions across diverse business sectors.

The awardees were Dr. Neeta Deshpande, Partner and Medical Director, Centra Care Super Speciality Hospital; Mrs. Sunita Sudhakar Patankar, Proprietrix, Annapurna Food Products; Mrs. Manjula Rajshekhar Kalyanshetty, Proprietrix, Flowmech Precisions; Mrs. Sarika Nagaraj Raibagi, Partner, Aditi Infinity Studio; and Mrs. Pratibha Suresh Hosur, Proprietrix, Preeti Papers, Belagavi.

The programme was presided over by Mr. Prabhakar Nagarmunoli, President, BCCI, who welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest, Mr. Satyanarayan Bhat, Joint Director, District Industries Centre, appreciated the achievements of women entrepreneurs and emphasized their significant role in economic development.

Mrs. Jyotsna Pai introduced the awardees, while Mrs. Anita Kanbargi explained the selection criteria and proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Mrs. Monica Bagewadi.

Family members of the awardees, women entrepreneurs, presidents and secretaries of trade and industry associations of Belagavi, and office bearers of BCCI were present. Prominent among them were Mr. Satish Kulkarni (Secretary BCCI), Mr. Swapnil Shah (Senior Vice President), Mr. Uday Joshi (Vice President), Mr. Anand Desai, Mr. Manoj Mattikop, Mr. Vaibhav Vernekar, along with other dignitaries.
